A Move
Here I showcase the variety of projects I have implemented for private clients and business partners to give you an impression of where my services can be applied.
A Move
For many, moving is a nightmare. Many things can go wrong: insufficient storage space, rooms that are too small, furniture that doesn't fit, or an overall look that turns out differently than expected. However, all of this can be avoided—specifically when the new apartment or house is carefully planned in advance with existing furniture and furnishings.
Project Description
The A. family had previously rented an apartment in Graz and recently acquired a single-family home in the rural outskirts of the city. The family commissioned me to design several rooms. Here, I am showing the design of the kitchen. The goal was to take all existing kitchen furniture along—while simultaneously resolving uncertainty about how these could be sensibly integrated into the new house.
A particular challenge was to reuse and optimally place all existing kitchen cabinets and to develop a harmonious, varied lighting concept, as the room is generally quite dark.
Our Solution
Within an IN TOUCH workshop, we together defined the optimal design style for all family members: Mid-Century Modern, with a dominant blue shade and warm accents. Subsequently, we developed a suitable floor plan in IMAGO and verified the concept using 3D visualizations.
